Twitter User Manual – How To Use Twitter In Different Ways
Twitter has been a rage among people of all age groups. Many aspiring actors have rose to stardom due to their fancy tweets only. What exactly is twitter? What makes it unique? Is it a mart where people tweet about their giveaways? Is it a chat room? Or is it a media channel?
I would say Twitter is what you make out to be. Boring summer, but if you have the right outlook, humorous side, and some basic knowledge as to how to use Twitter then I assure you that you can have a huge following. Well, I had already discussed about getting maximum followers on Twitter.
So in this post I will unveil different faces of Twitter.
1. Twitter as a library
I call Twitter as a library as apart from following celebrities who tweet about their relationship status, current location and various other timeline events. You can enlighten yourself with tweets from business leaders, entrepreneurs, journalists etc.
This would enrich you with wisdom and henceforth would lead to opening up of your mind.
2. Twitter as mandi-bazaar (share market)
First of all excuse me for my “desi” language. I have seen people using twitter as a way to curse the company which have conned them. You can air your complaint with a hash tag like #fail to raise your voice.
Moreover one can also use twitter to take shopping advice from fellow tweeters.
3. Twitter as a lounge/cafe
Twitter can be used a medium to build support for your favorite cause or find a hobby teacher – just like in a real cafe. You can follow other tweeters by clicking on #followfriday hash tag that enables you to choose the right tweeters to follow.
I genuinely follow my favorite tech blogger Amit Aggarwal who is also a tech columnist at WSJ India.
4. Twitter as to show your humorous side
If you are funny, then I strongly recommend you to post your one-liners, jokes, public insults on Twitter provided that the content that you submit be purely original. There is a huge market for originality and you can gain massive following through it.
Initially start conversing through your witty and clever lines and then you can see a genuine increase in your following.
5. Twitter as a media/blog channel
You have a tech blog and are frequently updated about latest news from different sources. So you can always tweet about them. I recently re tweeted about a giveaway that I am a part of at www.netchunks.com and would soon published about it on my blog.
Don’t worry!! There are others (non-bloggers) who are interested in poems, music, photography. So you can often tweet about them to gain some respectable following.
